  • Opening an account with EBSCO Mags is easy. Whether you are a new customer, or an existing customer using our website for the first time, simply click the My Account button near the top right of this page and follow the steps to create a new account. You may also create your account during the checkout process if you prefer. Existing customers will be asked to quickly verify some account information in order to gain access to your online account. Once verified, your subscriptions, payment and order history, and more will be available to manage on ebscomags.com. How do I know when my subscriptions are up for renewal?

Depending on your preferences set in the Preferences tab of account management, you will receive a renewal notice by mail, email, or both when your subscriptions qualify for renewal. Additionally, the Renewals tab in account management will indicate when you can renew a subscription; magazines ready for renewal will also appear in red in the Subscription Management tab.

  • Can I transfer magazines I ordered through someone else to EBSCO?
  • Of course! If you have an active ebscomags.com account, you can make transfers quickly by using the Transfer Subscription form found in the Transfer Subscriptions tab on your account management screen. You will need to indicate the name of the magazine and the month the subscription is paid through. We’ll handle transferring the subscription from there and will send you a renewal notice when it is time to renew, however you may continue to receive renewal notices from the publisher which can be ignored.

  • How do I qualify for your rates?
  • In order to qualify for our deeply discounted subscription rates, you must provide us with a business name or a professional title, such as business owner, office manager, Dr., or other title during checkout or account setup. All businesses with reception areas or waiting rooms instantly qualify.

  • Why do I need to provide a business name or professional title?
  • Our specially negotiated rates are available only to professionals, business owners, business managers, and businesses with reception rooms or waiting areas. Entering your title or business name qualifies you to receive the deeply discounted magazine subscription rates offered by EBSCO Mags.

  • Can I pay my outstanding invoice online?
  • Yes, as long as you have an active account with us. Click on My Account at the top right of this page. Once logged in, go to the Invoices and Recent Orders tab to view all current and unpaid invoices. All unpaid invoices will be indicated. Click the Pay Now button to begin the payment process. If multiple invoices are due, select those that you'd like to pay and click the Pay Now button. It's that easy.

  • Can I have multiple delivery addresses on my account?
  • Yes. After setting up your account, you can go to the Address Management tab and add as many delivery locations as you like. You'll notice that once you have more than one delivery address, the shopping cart will have a drop down that allows you to choose the delivery location for each of your magazine selections.

For accounts with multiple locations, invoices, renewal notices, and other communications bill will only go to the account billing address. If you need these communications to go to multiple addresses, you will need to set up multiple accounts, each with their own billing address.

  • What if I want to order a title that's not listed on this website?
  • In order to make ebscomags.com fast and easy to use, we keep our online catalog at around 300 of our most popular magazine titles. However, we have access to over 250,000 magazines, journals, and more, and can fulfill most requests. To inquire about other publications, call us at 800.527.5901 or use the Live Chat tool during business hours, or you may fill out our contact form and we’ll get back to you as soon as possible. Chances are we can get you a great rate on the title you are looking for.

  • How do I report a missed or damaged issue?
  • If you have an ebscomags.com account, reporting a missing or damaged issue is simple. Begin by logging into your account, then click Report A Problem tab and use one of the methods outlined to inform us of your missed issue and whether you’d prefer a replacement copy (when possible) or a credit to your account. We'll address your concern quickly and keep you updated on our progress throughout the resolution process.

  • Can I cancel my magazine subscription(s)?
  • Yes, you can cancel your titles at any time and you will receive a refund for issues you have not yet received. Login to your ebscomags.com account and click on Active under the Subscription Management tab. Find the magazine you wish to cancel and click the Manage button, then Cancel Subscription. For magazines in renewal, you may request not to renew your current subscription rather than cancel immediately. This option will allow you to receive all issues remaining in your term while declining the option to renew. Depending on the timing of your cancellation request and the printing and mailing schedule of the magazine, you may receive another issue or two before the cancellation goes into effect.

  • What if I can't remember my login information?
  • You can request to have your login information sent to you via the email address on the account by clicking the Forgot Password link on the login page. If no longer have access to that email address or do not know the email address associated with the account, please call 800.527.5901 or use the Live Chat tool during business hours, or you may fill out our contact form and we will be happy to assist you in gaining access.

  • What if I need to pay by check or have an invoice mailed to me?
  • In order to use the Bill Me Later option, you must have an active EBSCO Mags account in good standing. After selecting this option during checkout, you will receive a copy of your invoice via email and mail within two weeks after the order is placed. Previous invoices and payment information can be accessed from the Invoice and Order History tab of your account.

  • Can I order magazines for my home?
  • Those who work from home and home-based businesses can order magazines to be delivered to their homes.

  • Can I order subscriptions from EBSCO as gifts?
  • Our special rates cannot be used to give gift subscriptions unless being sent to another professional at a business address. Please call 800.527.5901 or use the Live Chat tool during business hours, or you may fill out our contact form and we will be happy to assist you for more information.

  • Where can I find out if a magazine is discontinued?
  • We will notify you via mail and email if a magazine to which you subscribe is discontinued. This notification will include all relevant information regarding the discontinuation and how to receive a refund for unpublished issues if applicable.

  • When can I expect the first issue of my subscription?
  • This depends on the publication and mailing schedule of the individual magazine. Most magazines begin arriving between 8 to 10 weeks from the order date. Your subscription will begin on what we refer to as the Start Date. A Start Date adjusts for the lag time it takes for your delivery address information to be imported into the publisher's upcoming publication schedule. All start dates are designated for the 1st of the month. Regardless of the actual start date, you will receive the number of issues indicated by the term you selected for each magazine.

  • What does a magazine's "Term" mean?
  • A magazine term refers to the number of years (usually 1, 2, or 3 years) included in the subscription. We will also indicate the number of issues per term for each publication.
